Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway
.jpg)
A ropeway connects the shore of Lake Kawaguchiko with the summit of Mt. Tenjo. The observation deck at an altitude of 1,075 meters offers a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, making it an ideal spot for photography. Mt. Tenjo is also the setting for the Japanese folk tale “Kachi-kachi Mountain,” and there are raccoon dog and rabbit dolls scattered throughout the ropeway gondolas and observation deck.
